Not much of the time
Okay, I've got a bunch of busy lately and sleeping too I don't have much time for the blogs. Don't be too made at me *~*... David, DDR rules! Lots of taking it easy until school year ends. Lots of time to myself. And lots of time with Betty XP.
Well, yesterday I was at the college fair. I went with Simon. Some of you might have seen us there, cuz we saw a few people we knew. So, yeah, there were a bunch of colleges there. At the entrance we were handed these big plastic bags to carry all the stuff we got inside. I thought at first, "Why such a big bag, that's such a waste..." I was sooooo wrong. We got sooooo much stuff by the end of it... it was CRAZY! The bag is sitting by my bed, filled... and it wieghs as much as my backpack XO! *sigh* Basically, me and Simon went around to each college rep and asked "How is your Computer Science program?" There were a wide varietuy of answers, so much s, in fact, that I will list them for you, from most desirable to least:
1) (wearing a suit, smiling) "You've come to the right place! Computer Science is our most popular major blah blah blah..." The rep proceeds to give a wealth of details about thier computer science program, and it's history, and how many job applications thier graduates get, and so on...
2) "Oh, yes! We have an excellent program! It's one of our top majors..." Proceeds to give details about the program, bullshits a little.
3) "Yes we have a great program for studying the computer sceinces." But they can't tell you anything other than thier computer science program's existence.... and greatsness.
4) "Yes, well, our computer science program is closely tied to the math program." Translation: there are no more than 10 computers on the campus.
5) "Um... well, we have one!" XD... our response: Cool.... *walks away*
6) *Pauses... smiles and shakes head...*
We looked at some really cool colleges though, despite the overabundance of humorously bad responses. Some of my new favorite colleges are: University of British Columbia, Drexel University (Pennsylvania), University of Hawaii (both of them... yes there are two), and some others I can't remember... Also, I saw Nessa, Paul Chun, Marissa, Claire (from SR).... and maybe some others? Anyways, it was fun. So, yeah. I think there was something else I wanted to say about it... oh yeah! Puget Sound was there (school James is going to) and we asked the guy if he knew James, and he was like "James Gowdey? Yeah, I know him." We were all amazed, to say the least. All.... two of us. Yeah. Cool.
Okay, thats about it. I don't have any AP exams so I have little to complain about. Take it easy everyone! I'll blog about the next big thing that happens....
